Join Sophie Herxheimer (award-winning artist/ poet ) and Laura Mitchison (oral historian with On the Record). This is a unique opportunity to work with found texts from a “therapeutic community” archive – the only known example of its type. Under Sophie’s and Laura’s guidance, you will glimpse alternative messages within the case histories and psychoanalytic texts. We’ll create new poems from old words using collage, cut-up, random dealing and other experimental writing techniques.
