Description
The Birth Rites Collection is a collection of contemporary art which explores the politics and practice of childbirth and supports artists to make work on the subject of birth. Comprising photography, sculpture, painting, artist books, print, drawing, new media and film, it is world’s first, and only, collection of contemporary art dedicated to the subject of childbirth.
Join us this Autumn for virtual tours of the Birth Rites Collection filmed onsite at Guy’s Campus, King’s College London.
You will be led around the collection over Zoom by our BRC tour leaders, artist Hermione Wiltshire and practising midwife, Eleanor Featherby.
