March 19 @ 7:00 pm - June 19 @ 9:00 pm

£25 – £35
Writing is an evidence-based, low cost, portable tool for maintaining our wellbeing and personal development.

About this event

These workshops provide a safe, confidential space within a small group (2-8 people) to explore your personal and professional experiences caring for others, and thinking how you can care for yourself.

We will do this using a carefully designed blend of creative, expressive and reflective writing, drawing on poetry therapy and journaling and other techniques, using poetry, prose and mixed media as a stimulus for your writing, reflections and discussion.

Each Saturday workshop will be via Zoom, and is two hours long (19:00-21:00 GMT) with breaks, to allow for writing, and sharing the writing process +/- extracts of your writing, and for discussion.

Each workshop is based on relevant themes for those caring for others in a therapeutic capacity, to encourage a focus on your own wellbeing needs:

Saturday 18th February 2022 : A journey through Compassion POSTPONED

Saturday 19th March 2022 :The Rhetoric of Resilience

Saturday 9th April 2022 :Celebrating our differences

Saturday 21st May 2022 :Finding your space and place

Price: £35 full price, £25 undergraduate students/unwaged
