Introduction to Fundraising
Is fundraising a part of your work in the cultural sector? Are you responsible for raising money for your project or organisation?
Our introduction to fundraising course is a one-day online course that offers you a practical introduction to basic principles of fundraising and development. These include:
- How to develop a compelling case for support
- Understanding the wider non-profit environment and fundraising’s vital place within it
- Understanding the fundraising and development planning process
- How to identify income sources
- How to create strong supporter communications
- How to ensure that your fundraising is legal and ethical
- Finding out where to get more information and your next steps as a fundraiser
Raise offers a limited number of discounted bursaries to undertake the Introduction to Fundraising course. Our bursary is a contribution of £40 towards the total cost (£75) of the course.
* Bursaries available for arts, culture or heritage sector fundraisers based throughout England ( and outside London).
