Arts and Health South West Trustees

Are you based in the South West, and have a passion for arts and health? Then join our AHSW Trustee Board.

We’re on the look out for three new trustees to join the Board from November this year. The Board of Trustee’s has an important function in the organisation, as it safeguards and promotes the charity’s reputation, and provides a sound decision making and monitoring framework which helps the organisation deliver its charitable purpose.

Trustees meet 4 times a year, and being a trustee of AHSW provides an opportunity to be part of a lively and engaged group of people who share a passionate interest in advocating for arts and health work.

We are actively seeking to broaden the diversity of our board, and also fill skills gaps from departing trustees. We therefore particularly welcome applications from people who:

• Have lived experience of mental health issues, neurodiversity or physical disability/ impairment.
• Are from a Black, Asian or Ethnic Minority background
• Have knowledge and experience of working with environmental issues
• Have skills/experience relating to fundraising, finance and business management
• Have knowledge of relevant sectors in the South West region
