London Arts and Health: a year in review

We wanted to show a quick overview of what we’ve been up to this year, and also thank our funders: Arts Council England, the GLA and Catalyst (The National Lottery Community Fund).

We are also incredibly grateful to the Culture Health and Wellbeing Alliance for their continued support throughout the year.

Our 2021 highlights include many things, but we’ve been proud to produce resources for our members including the Culture on Prescription social presribing mythbuster, been part of two successful Thriving Communities bids as well as running Creativity and Wellbeing Week, platforming amazing practice and thinking from the likes of the ENO, Portugal Prints, St. Margaret’s House, GOSH, Paintings in Hospitals and Breathe Arts Health Research. We have also nearly got our City Arts and Health Hub ready for launch, meaning members will be able to access co-working and workshop spaces in 2022. We thank our board of trustees for their ongoing support in championing the sector. But most importantly we want to thank YOU our members, we can’t wait to hear more about your projects, research and work next year and continue to build capacity in the arts and health sector across London and beyond.

With warm seasonal wishes from the whole team!
