Want to be part of a pioneering programme of creative activities and experiences for people living with dementia? Resonate Arts runs a Creative Befriending service with a unique arts focus, giving volunteers the opportunity to share a love of arts and culture with a person living with dementia.

We will match you with a person living with dementia in Westminster or Kensington & Chelsea who has similar interests. As you get to know each other, you will spend time together using creative arts activities as a means to build a strong social connection. Responding to the interests and needs of the individual, this could be in the home environment or out in the community going to exhibitions, concerts or museums. We can also link you to our own programme of dementia friendly sessions with partners such as Wigmore Hall, the V&A and the Royal Academy of Music.

Volunteers receive an induction and dementia awareness training, an enhanced DBS check, peer to peer support with other Creative Befrienders and ongoing support from a dedicated Projects Manager.

·       Commitment: Minimum of 10 sessions

·       Dates and times: Flexible

·       Location: Across Westminster or Kensington & Chelsea
