A4D Report Launch – A.R.T.S. for Brain Health: Social Prescribing as Diagnostic Practice for Dementia

Arts 4 Dementia launches report to transform diagnostic practice for dementia, establishing a pathway to refer patients at the onset of symptoms to empowering arts to preserve brain health.

Audiences are invited to join A4D to celebrate the launch on World Alzheimer’s Day, Tuesday 21 September 2021. An online launch will be held in the morning, convened by Zoom, 10-11.30am, followed by an in-person celebration, 2 – 3.45pm, at The Wallace Collection, Manchester Square, London,  W1U 3B.

Both events will bring together policy makers and leaders in dementia prevention, culture, health and wellbeing, social prescribing and primary care to debate the way forward.

A.R.T.S. (Activities to Revitalise The Soul) for Brain Health: Social Prescribing as Diagnostic Practice for Dementia, presents findings from A4D’s two-year campaign to achieve social prescribing as automatic practice for dementia. The report addresses diagnostic and social prescribing practice, modifying risk factors for dementia through healthy and creative ageing, creative practice to preserve brain health, and programme partnerships and funding.
