The Living Room at Rich Mix will consist of conversations, storytelling from the older and newer generation, performances, and a short film. It will be an intimate night of storytelling about origin, heritage and home.

This event will be nostalgic, conversational, and community-based where we will listen and hear the stories from others within our communities. Our community will be able to reminisce and connect on an intimate level with similar stories.

This takes an intergenerational approach by providing a platform for elders within the black community to share their stories alongside the younger generation. This will be coupled with performances that celebrate blackness in all its glory.
