About the event

Join us for this special online event showcasing arts projects that are working with women to achieve social change, in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The evening will include 5 quick-fire presentations by people passionate about using the arts for social change, and all presentations will explore creative work engaging women or addressing women’s issues. Presenters will show up to 15 slides about their project, issue, or community. Each presentation will last no more than 5 minutes.

There will also be a short work-in-progress performance from Collective Encounters’ Women in Action group, sharing this group’s approach to using theatre for social change.

There will be opportunities to ask questions of the contributors throughout.
