All over the world people continue to flee their home due to conflict, oppression and war, looking for places to resettle and find sanctuary. According to the UNHCR, UK Iran. With the numbers of those resettling in the UK set to rise, there is a need to share good practice ad equip  social prescribing services and link workers with knowledge, skills and confidence to to practically support refugees as they navigate and adapt to their new circumstances.

Our speakers will cover, some of the practical ways you can support refugees, including the challenges, share examples of good practice, from both a social prescribing organisation and link worker’s. We will also share a host of resources for further reading and provide access to our new social prescribing eLearning module on culturally responsive practice.
