SCHWeP Forum: Re-igniting our network!

October 13, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

SCHWeP Forum is back! We are so excited to reconnect with our members and all those interested in joining our network.

Come along for a chance to hear updates on our work and how this fits into the wider context of arts and health regionally and nationally, including how we have worked with key partners to support over 4000 children as part of the Southwark’s Holiday Food & Fun Programme. We will also be introducing our next project to develop a local programme of arts and culture projects with a focus on Covid-related health topics eg. prevention, vaccination, mental health, isolation etc and how you can get involved.

To kick things off we are delighted to be joined by Staś Smagala, Community Southwark’s Social Prescribing Officer, who will be sharing a short presentation on social prescribing through the CVS lens. We will also be joined by Clare Lovett, a representative from Greater London Authority who will update us on their work in culture health and wellbeing with particular reference to the SE region.

There will also be a chance to hear from a number of arts organisations making great strides in the field of culture, health and wellbeing across the borough. These include Jane Findlay from Dulwich Picture Gallery updating us on their work with the Tessa Jowell Centre and other projects.

There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion afterwards.

If you would like to share something with the network, something you are working on or anything else please let us know beforehand by emailing swk.chw.partnership@gmail.com
