Bringing together the London wide social prescribing system to share work Pan-London, reflect on challenges and discuss how SP can thrive.

This ‘Town Hall’ style meeting, following the first event held in December 2020, will platform regional and national organisations sharing their work to support Social Prescribing in London and explore the work needed to ensure its sustainability for the future.

This event will bring together the wider social prescribing system to understand more about the national and regional work happening behind the scenes, recognise the collective challenges and allow space to steer future priorities to ensure social prescribing can thrive.

Social Prescribing Link Workers connect people to local community support, opportunities and activities to improve their health and wellbeing. Wider pressures on the health service and increased demand for VCSE services raises concerns around the capacity across sectors to deliver quality care for those who need it most. Long term collaboration with all local partners, support and investment in the voluntary & community sector are essential to ensuring Social Prescribing can support those who need it most, tackle health inequity and is sustainable. Join this event to hear from national and regional organisations and those on the frontline about work that is underway and for the opportunity to feed into future planning.
