SCHWeP has been commissioned by Southwark Council’s Public Health team to facilitate and support the development of a local programme of arts and culture projects with a focus on exploring responses of Southwark’s diverse communities to the Covid-19 vaccination offer, perceptions of local government Covid-19 prevention guidelines and messaging, and the impact & effects of, and the relationship between Covid-19 & Long Covid and areas such as mental health, isolation, and a general sense of wellbeing.
Projects should cater primarily for ethnic minority groups; particularly Black African and Black Caribbean groups and younger people across all ethnic groups.
Funding is 4-6k per organisation/creative individual to deliver activities and evaluation.
