Jerwood Foundation supports excellence and emerging talent in the arts in the UK and welcomes funding applications from organisations with a focus on making art available for public benefit and working with our collection.

How to apply for a grant

THE NEXT JERWOOD FUNDING ROUND WILL BE AWARDED IN APRIL 2024 AND THE CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS IS 1 MARCH 2024.

For the April 2024 funding round Trustees will only consider applications for projects starting more than 3 months, but less than 12 months, from the funding round closing date (i.e. projects starting from 1 June 2024 until 1 March 2025).

Please send your application as one document (either Word or PDF).

> This should be a maximum of 10 sides of A4 and include: a one-page summary of your project with a short description and start date; your budget and fundraising plan; and any other relevant information. Applications should be sent either by email to info@jerwood.org or by post to PO Box 186, Ludlow, SY8 9DX.

> Please provide a copy of your organisation’s latest audited accounts or if you are a small charity and not required to produce audited accounts, please provide your annual budget (with income and expenditure detail).

The focus of our charity is on the promotion of the arts for the public benefit.

> Please note we do not provide funding to individuals, fund educational courses, core organisational costs or capital endowments.

>All applications will be acknowledged and considered; however, we are unable to provide feedback on individual applications.

Successful applicants will be contacted within 2 weeks of the Trustee meeting date: for the April 2024 funding round, successful applicants will be contacted by 1 May 2024.
