Pitch your programme Idea: Raw Material

Raw material are seeking pitches to deliver 2 hour weekly sessions over a period of 8 weeks, with one strand of programming specifically looking for facilitators to design a creative project  for adults 16-30 or 30+ experiencing mental ill health.

Raw Material offers our members the chance to design their own experiences at Raw, through our Programming Committee. The committee is made up of Raw Material members who currently use our services. They meet 3 times a year to help shape Raw Material’s programme and are given the chance to select two creative courses to run in the next term.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR…

New creative opportunities which will appeal to any of these groups:

  • Short school holiday programme for ages 11 – 16, to be delivered between 3 – 14th April, 2023

  • Short intensive course for 16 – 25 years, to be delivered between 3 – 14th April, 2023

  • Young adults aged 16+ who are developing their careers in the creative industries

  • Adults aged 16 – 30 or 30+ experiencing mental ill health whose wellbeing and mental health will benefit from your creative project

  • Young people aged 16 – 25 experiencing anxiety and/or depression

SPECIFICATIONS

Videos can be a maximum of 2 minutes long. Anything longer than this will not be included.

  • Each pitch should be designed to deliver 2 hours sessions x 8 weeks

  • Raw will pay successful artist facilitators at the lead tutor rate of £100 per session. The breakdown of this fee is:
    Delivery rate =£35 p/hour x 2 hours

    Preparation rate = £15 x 30minutes

    Debrief rate = £15 x 30 minutes

    TOTAL = £100 p/session

  • One proposal per person is permitted

Raw are only able to present 10 proposals at the committee event, we will be closing applications once 10 proposals have been received. Please apply early to avoid disappointment.
Proposals will be accepted until Wednesday 1st March 2023, 5 pm, OR when 10 proposals have been received.
