Community Outreach Coordinator – Freelance Role
Location: North London
Rate: £200 per day (7.5 hours)
Duration: 20 days between April–October
Cayr Charity is hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator for our Women’s Textile Project, a programme using creative health practices to support women affected by breast cancer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community outreach and participant engagement
- Engaging local businesses and organisations
- Encouraging sign-ups for workshops and exhibitions
- Supporting the project’s final exhibition in October
Requirements:
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, or public engagement
- Understanding of arts and health projects
- Daytime availability required (this role is not suitable for those in full-time employment)
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Willingness to undergo safeguarding training
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Weekly check-in on Tuesday or Thursday (flexible with the candidate)
