2024 marks a pivotal year for the National Arts in Hospital Network (NAHN) as it integrates with NHS Charities Together, expanding its reach and impact. Founded in 2019, the network was originally established to support and alleviate the often solitary and challenging roles of hospital arts managers.

The National Arts in Hospitals Network is a national membership organisation of NHS managers and professional leads who are involved in the leadership and delivery of Arts, Heritage and Design services across NHS hospitals. The purpose of the group is to share best practice, to find solutions and offer support to those working within this field of healthcare. We aim to raise the profile of our profession, strive to improve and standardise our approaches to working and to instigate innovative projects that celebrate the arts across the NHS.

NAHN is currently working on Our National Health Stories: Marking 75 years of our National Health Service, this powerful new artwork is an unprecedented collaboration between 19 hospital trusts and a creative team led by Kwame Kwei-Armah. More information here.
