4th International Social Prescribing Network Conference ‘Local and global triumphs and tribute of social prescribing’

Description 

This is the 4th international event for The Social Prescribing Network is the only international conference for social prescribing in the world. We are building on the reputation for providing well organised, informative conferences with a range of speakers, learning opportunities and networking. Like last year, this event will run over two days and will be held online, with every effort made to maintain opportunities for networking.

Sessions will be recorded allowing delegates access to recordings on the virtual platform after the vent. We anticipate the whole conference to be CPD accredited and the prices have been kept as low possible to enable accessibility.

Conference Themes

Our programme aims to bring you the latest experiences and data social prescribing both locally and internationally. We are delighted to welcome our Day 1 keynote speaker, Sir Michael Marmot from UCL to speak about inequalities and social prescribing. Our Day 2 keynote speaker is Dr Lee Kheng Hock sharing how Singhealth community hospitals are embracing social prescribing in Singapore.

The conference will cover a range of topics from strategic developments in social prescribing commissioning, the utilisation of Integrated Care Systems, workforce development, and international developments. We will also take a look at key sectors – including the VCFSE, children and young people, green prescribing, student champions and placements and much more.

We will understand the triumphs and the tribulations and have a key continual focus inequalities.

Conference format

The conference will be provided as an online event. Tickets will enable delegates to attend all scheduled sessions on the 10th and 11th March 2022. Sessions will be recorded and made available to delegates.

There will be a mixture of plenary sessions, concurrent workshops and research workshop presentations, interspersed with networking opportunities. We will have a virtual exhibitors hall and a virtual research poster room.

Who should attend?

The conference is aimed at anyone, from anywhere in the world who has a role in social prescribing or is interested in developing social prescribing – from providers of social prescribing activities and service users, through to the commissioners of services and everyone in between. The content is provided to facilitate collaboration and learning from colleagues in other social prescribing roles and sectors. The conference around the world are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

How to Book

We have kept ticket prices as low as we can to enable access for as many people as possible. Full price tickets are £95, VCSFE £45, students £20 and unwaged £10. Your ticket gives access to all sessions across the 2-day event and recorded sessions after the conference. Please use this link to book your tickets.
