Learn how to boost your wellbeing through the practise of music and mindfulness. An online course of six weekly sessions.

Take some time amidst your busy week to boost your wellbeing and support your mental health with The Art of Listening. We shall develop our listening skills through the practice of guided musical meditations to focus and centre our mind. Using mindful exercises, we will spend time learning new techniques to help with stress, anxiety, and relaxation. You will be invited to practise expressive musical exercises exploring the voice, breath and body. We shall also spend time exploring and discussing musical ideas, styles and theories in the hope of deepening and influencing the way you approach music. Through an exploration of new sound worlds, you will have the opportunity to expand your musical knowledge and tastes. This course finds itself moving through the season of Summer and so we shall spend time each week exploring the busy sounds of nature in the height of Summer. This course requires no experience in mindfulness or musical understanding, simply an open-mind and open-heart. We shall create a safe space to share, discuss and communicate through the ancient language of music.
