About InterAct Stroke Support

It’s widely understood that social interaction assists recovery after stroke. InterAct Stroke Support uses experienced actors to deliver regular one to one reading sessions, harnessing the power of storytelling to help stroke survivors develop language, stimulate memory, and combat isolation.

We offer in person, and virtual readings. InterAct’s 160 professional actors read in 20 hospitals and over 50 stroke clubs across the United Kingdom as well as conducting remote ‘InterAct at Home’ sessions via telephone or video call.

Please contact info@interactstroke.org with any queries about the competition or our work more broadly
