After studying for an MA in art history at The Courtauld Institute of Art, Kim spent nearly 20 years working within fundraising for organisations including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, NSPCC, Leonard Cheshire and Careers Trust.

She then decided to take a career break and spent 5 years exploring the world, seeing breathtaking man-made and natural wonders, learning new skills and meeting a whole host of incredible individuals.

When the Covid pandemic put an end to her global adventures, she decided she wanted to make a difference in the London communities where she lives, which are a vibrant and diverse cultural mix, but also beset by great poverty. So, she splits her time between supporting older people as a caregiver in Newham, running a volunteering programme at an organisation for the elderly in Hackney and volunteering at a foodbank in Tower Hamlets.

In her spare time, Kim loves going to the ballet, theatre, concerts, museums, art galleries and continuing the aerial acrobatics that she learnt while travelling.
