Culture Box was an 18-month research project designed to improve the wellbeing of people with dementia in care homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The project curated arts-based and creative activities for residents to enjoy in groups and with care staff, these were sent out in boxes via email and post to participating care homes.
Culture Box concluded in early 2021 with a wealth of exciting and stimulating activities. We have developed an online archive and catalogue of all the materials from the project. Although the project was originally for people with dementia, the resources have applicability to a diverse array of user groups. We encourage you to explore the archive!
