World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health.
It’s also a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you are struggling.
We wanted to highlight some amazing events that you can get involved with this year in London, as well as look back at stories and news from our archive that supports creativity and mental health.
From LAH’s events:
- Head to Bethlam Gallery and visit Keith Clapson’s first solo exhibition exploring his recovery from OCD.
- Head to Blue Elephant theatre and join a weekly workshop exploring Black Joy on stage.
- Head to City Lit and book a free ticket to join in some of the many events this week in their Mental Wealth Festival.
