Sadie Williams is a multidisciplinary artist, creating pattern and colour-driven work in fashion textiles and art, juxtaposing graphic modernity with hand-worked craft. Since graduating with Distinction from the Central Saint Martins MA Fashion Course her graphic and tactile work has capitalised on her strengths in print and textile innovation.

Join us for this tactile workshop where we will explore paper weaving to create check, tartan an repeat patterned designs.

You will need:

• A4 coloured card
• A4 glitter card – torn or cut into long strips before the workshop
• Scissors (or you can tear)
• Glue stick
• HB pencil
• Ruler

*Note: This activity can also be recreated using plain coloured paper – it does not have to be glitter paper.
