Queercircle launches a new health and well-being programme this autumn

Queercircle launches a new health and well-being programme this autumn as part of its exploration of the potentials of ‘queering creative health’.

Queercircle is a new LGBTQ+ arts organisation that opened four months ago, based in the Design District, North Greenwich. Learning Manager, Frances Williams, describes the programme as part of the Queercirle’s mission to provide a ‘home for LGBTQ+ arts, culture and social change’.

The programme will comprise workshops, readings and discussions by authors, activists and artists, on topics as varied as grief, shame, consent, pleasure activism, trans joy and queer parenting. ‘We are committed to a holistic vision of health, one that foregrounds social justice and intersectionality’ Williams says.
